Very good dessert wine. The Moscato from Sicily has such a varied bouquet and taste that it is definately something to take your time over and enjoy.

Taste	This flavorful wine is full and round, with lively litchi fruit, pineapple, banana, and orange blossom flavors delivering a seemingly endless finish.
Colour	Yellow shining gold with amber reflections.
Nose	Dense scents of dried apricots, mango, orange peel, pistachio nuts, dates, cream and vailla. The bouquet is so rich to almost remind you of a Sicilian pastry shop.
Accompanies	This is an ideal dessert wine that obviously accompanies the sweet offerings of the region but can also be drunk alone in meditation.
Temperature	12-14° C.
Harvest	End of September.

TCD OPINION

Still quite a young dessert wine but from an interesting vintage. The Liqouroso is a fine offering from this vineyard.

The Moscato Di Noto Liquoroso is a potent yet elegant invention of the Noto commune more than 50 years ago. Elorina's version of this wine is smooth, exploding with sweet citrus, opulent tropical fruit and the richness of honey. The abundant sugary quality is immediately “cut” by the perfect amount of acid which adds complexity and balances the sweet fruit.

TCD Score: 87/100

A score of 87 the bouquet alone deserve this rating. Such a chorus of tastes but still well balanced, sweet and elegant.

Incorporated in 1978, it hoped to succeed in delivering a perfect expression of the viticulture of Italy's most beautiful region. The tastes of smells of Sicily and world renowned and the Elorina vineyard manages to take the essense of traditional Sicily and couple it with the new winemaking processes and create beautiful DOC ranked wines that are calling out to be tasted. Today Elorina produces 7 different bottling each year of which 6 are D.O.C.
