TCD OPINION
Four star vintage considered excellent. A very particular wine, almost unique. Coming from ancient origins, a grape that was once thought lost was rediscovered and harvested to its best expression here in this wine.
From the earth of Abruzzo to the sea, grows a tasteful, good and crunchy grape, so loved by sheeps (in italian Pecora, so the name Pecorino). From this grape originates Pecorino wine with characteristic coming from the history of this land.
TCD Score: 87/100
The quality of this wine is unquestioned and represents one of the best expression of production in Abruzzo. A score of 87 points for a unique wine.
Abruzzo, the green region of Europe, with 40% of its territory protected by parks and reserves. In the heart of Abruzzo, between the Tirino valley (Capestrano) and the Pescara valley (Pescosansonesco), at the foot of Gran Sasso and Maiella: it is here that we have planted our vineyards, on a land characterized by a particularly favourable climate, with high thermal excursions, never abandoned by winds, with a varied terrain, from clay-chalk to skeleton-rich and rocky subsoil.
