Intense dark ruby red, black in the centre. Gorgeous nose of dark cherry, a little earth and some raspberries, if blind I'd have guessed a young Barolo! Tannic, good acidity, almost well balanced and fruity, thinner bodied than I was expecting. The finish is watery and disappointing. Perfect start and middle, let down by the end. 85 Points (SN - 09/08)

A great example of Aglianico at an every day drinking price. This is an up and coming producer not for sale in the UK with any other website. Enjoy!
Aglianico from the south is the new buzz wine in Italy. A grape variety producing wines of a tannic & acidic nature these are strong wines full of youthful character.

TCD Score: 85/100
85 Points for a solid and fruity Aglianico. Not bringing tremendous nuances this is a bottle of wine to be enjoyed with food and friends. Very pleasant and good QPR.
