TCD OPINION
A four star vintage in the Valle d'Aosta that complimented those growing the Gamay grape. This is a limited production wine from one of the most undervalued areas of Italian wine production.
Really interesting Gamay wine from the Valle D'Aosta. Gamay is not a grape widely cultivated in Italy famously finding its expression in Beaujolais, this is an interesting wine to see the effect of Italian terroir on such a famous grape. Really tiny producer, less than 2000 bottles a year, this is something unique and interesting.
TCD Score: 87/100
87 Points for a great accomplishment, bringing Gamay to a unique expression in the Italian alps.
