The taste is very elegant, aromatic and persistent. Very noble character and structure.
Colour
Intense plum colour (of the black kind), with reflections that seem somewhat that of burgundy red.
Nose
With a fragrance reserved when the bottle is half open. Once in the glass the aroma explodes in red fruit, green pepper and a kaleidoscopeof dry fruit, oriental spices, leather and scent of material (just dyed) fragrances.
Accompanies
It matches perfectly with red meat, wild game, skewer, mushrooms.
Temperature
Store the bottles horizontally in a dark, fresh, dry room. Serve at 16-18° in smooth trasparent crystal glasses

From the beginning of Septeber till the end of October according to the six different grape types

The Cellatica D.O.C. is a red wine, produced in the municipalities of Rodengo Saiano, Gussago, Cellatica, Collebeato and Brescia. According to the Cellatica regulations, this wine is mainly made out of four different grape types : Marzemino 35%, Barbera 35%, Schiava Gentile 10% and Incrocio Terzi 10%. For the last 10% we are allowed to use cabernet sauvignon 5% and merlot 5% as red grape varieties.

The story of this winery dates back officially from 1994, when the two owners, Paolo Clerici and Massimo Fasoli, urged by a deep and firm passion for wine and winemaking, decided to turn one of their oldest property into what today is Cà del Vént (literally “the Windy House”). The reason was an ambitious plan they have been saving in their mind for a long time : creating the best wine this territory could ever offer and give people the chance to enjoy this exclusiveness. The way to reach this aim seemed soon very clear : use the best resources available in the oenological market at any stage to get a no-compromise wine. This approach has been the backbone of the company in all the segments and throughout the time : from the working of the earth, to the harvesting, the vinification, the work in the cellar and the aging process, everything has been focused to reach a superb wine. On the other hand, investment in technology were matched by time, love, enthusiasm and respect for nature and environmental concerns greatly devoted by our people working mostly manually, along artisan tecniques, the 5 hectares of “gardens” at Cà del Vènt. Today our wines embody this balanced mix between tecnology and tradition, between the demanding personality of the producers and the territory they've been produced on. And in more than a decade, they managed to give all the anthusiasts and wine lovers a unique chance for a supreme delight...
