TCD Opinion
Best drunk as an accompaniment to food, the wine is dry with a great aroma. As with all good DOC wines this is meant to complement food and not to overpower it.
A great wine to accompany food at a very good price. Good quality, cheap, dry white. MORE INFO
TCD Score: 85/100
A score of 85 for this 2007 wine. Despite the wine being very young, as it is meant to be drunk, it is still bursting with bouquet and flavour.

TCD Opinion
An extremely well balanced wine to be enjoyed young. The wine manages a great balance of tannins and yet is high in alcohol content. The flavour is one of blackberry's and licorice and leaves a bittersweet aftertaste for 30 seconds on the tongue. This wine goes through a long maceration process that produces the flavours and colour so unique to this wine.
A typical wine from Puglia. The 2005 Primitivo di Manduria is a major success for the vintage with its dark violet color, its nose of cherries, spice, and licorice, and its... MORE INFO
TCD Score: 87/100
A score of 87 for an excellent wine that has made something of a come back after a few poor vintages. The 2005 was excitidly heralded by the producers and the final product deserves the hype; you will not be disappointed.
The wine has a bitter chocolate character but the primary flavour is of dried figs or prunes.

A ruby red colour with garnet reflections.

The 2004 Salice Salentino Riserva has all the classic nose and palate of a Negro Amaro-based wine. Its packed with red fruit, has hints of leather and a smooth alcoholic warmth. Drinking well in 2007 but could take 1-2 years more to fully reach it's potential.
The Prince of Salento wine's. This is a riserva bottle from one of the regions most famous vineyards. For those who like the big meaty reds of the south. MORE INFO
TCD Score: 88/100
A score of 88 for a well balanced hearty red. If price were included whilst scoring the wine would be in the 90's. We highly recommend you try this wine.
