TasteThe wine is mid bodied with good acidity, a little hot on the finish but the tropical flavours still abound.
ColourGreat clarity in a golden straw yellow wine.
TCD Opinion
A very fair price for a Fiano of character that is true to the nature of the grape and the land on which it is grown. Good stuff.

Clear, golden colour. Tropical fruits on the nose, pineapple and banana, honey notes also a little sweet spice. The wine is mid bodied with good acidity, a little hot on...

TasteThe wine taste is Structured, tannic, soft, full-bodied flavours of black fruits, rose petal and tobacco. A dry long finish.
ColourA ruby red colour wine with violet reflections.
TCD Opinion
Four star year considered very good.

Great little red with a strong personality. We would expect to pay double for a bottle of such quality. This is a bargain.
MORE INFO

TCD Score: 85/100
This wine from the Campania region scores 85. The Irpinia Aglianico is traditionally the cheapest expression of the Aglianico grape but being a little more mellow than a full blown Taurasi isn't always a bad thing. This is a great table wine and works perfectly to compliment most meat and pasta dishes.

A great example of Aglianico at an every day drinking price. This is an up and coming producer not for sale in the UK with any other website. Enjoy!

Intense dark ruby red, black in the centre. Gorgeous nose of dark cherry, a little earth and some raspberries, if blind I'd have guessed a young Barolo! Tannic, good...

We strongly recommend you pick up a bottle of this Aglianico, year on year one of the best value producers of this grape.

Feudi di San Gregorio Fiano di Avellino is one of Italys most popular wines for a very good reason. A solid and interesting bottle of white at a fair price.
